Afternoon Tea

Recently, I've developed what can only be called an obsession with tea from a real teapot, in a real tea cup, complete with saucer. Luckily I have just the set for this obsession. Seriously, how cute is this?

In other, photography related news, I'm desperate to learn more - while I'm relatively happy with my photos, I want to look at them & think, "yes, those are exactly how I want them to look". I mean, I've come a long way, particularly since getting my DSLR, but I feel I've come to a bit of a standstil. & I know it's more a matter of developing my own style, & actually using the camera more to its full potential. It's been a while since I've actually played around with the settings. There are things I need to do, such as, going out & taking photos for the sake of taking photos, reading through the field guide, experimenting. It's a matter of time, which I do have, but I tend to sit down & get distracted by other things (TV, blogging, reading, etc). & then doing more with the photos once I've taken them, instead of just sticking them on my laptop & leaving them there.

Andrea's friend, Deborah, is currently on caternity leave, having acquired these 2 little beasties, Amber (the silvery one) & Armstrong (the darker one) at the start of the week. While Armstrong was the more timid, Amber was into absolutely everything!

I want kittens again!
